We currently offer community-based supports, respite, supported employment, and individual supports. These services can be offered in-home and in the community. The Potential In Us’ top priority is to cater to our client’s needs making flexibility and dedication our priority.
Community Based Supports/Individual Supports Direct support professionals help clients run errands, schedule doctors’ visits, enjoy leisure activities in the community and many more. With these supports, clients are working to meet a specific goal whether it's socializing more or being independent in the community. We provide structured, progressive support where the DSP will encourage the client beyond their comfort zone to achieve the targeted goals. These goals can be, but are not limited to, grooming and cleanliness, housekeeping, budgeting, laundry, medical coordination, lifestyle and diet changes, and many more.

Family Referred Community Based SupportsThis option is for families that already do the hard work and needs an agency to sign up with as a DSP to be compensated . This is only valid for a client’s family member or well-known friend referral. There are no minimum hours required. We have accommodating employee onboarding options where we come to you, if necessary, and help complete all required paperwork. Rates are negotiable based on tier, level of care being provided, and experience.

RespiteTPIU is here to offer a helping hand through Respite Care. Respite care is a service that alleviates the duties of the primary caregiver for a short period of time. Our agency provides respite care in and out of the home. There are no minimum number of days or hours required. Respite can be used for family vacations, or when a caretaker needs temporary relief. We offer in-home respite and out of home respite. (May Be subject to other services such as Community Based Supports, transportation, Activity fees.)

Supported EmploymentWe provide support and find activities needed to help a client obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment. This service may be provided for an intensive period upon the client’s initial employment to help get them acclimated. This service may also be provided as an ongoing “follow-up” service that can take place face to face or by phone/zoom with client and employer. Services are individualized and may include but are not limited to: training and systematic instruction, job coaching, benefit support, travel training, and other workplace support services including services not specifically related to job-skill training that enable the client to be successful in integrating into the job setting.

Overnight in Home SupportWe provide flexible support to accommodate clients through every step of their lives. In-home overnight support is the opportunity to have flexible in-home support for clients who live in their own home. Loved ones can feel at ease knowing their family members are being supported and making memorable moments in their new homes. In addition our clients have the opportunity to experience a sleepover/girls night in.

Home Organization ServicesPotential in Us provides specialized home organization services tailored for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This service is designed to assist clients in organizing, cleaning, and decluttering their living spaces to promote a safer, healthier environment. A cluttered living area can lead to various issues, including fire hazards, pest infestations, unpleasant odors, landlord concerns, and accessibility challenges.
Our trained staff develops customized plans to meet the unique needs and objectives of each client, supporting them in maintaining a safe, organized, and comfortable home that aligns with their personal goals for independent living. |
