We currently offer community-based support, respite, supported employment, and individual support. These services can be offered in-home and in the community. The Potential In Us’ top priority is to cater to our client’s needs
Standard Community Based SupportsThere are no minimum hours required. We provide a variety of services and can assist clients with transportation, medical coordination, and entertainment. Direct support professionals help clients run errands, schedule doctors’ visits, enjoy leisure activities in the community and many more. With these supports, clients are not working to meet a specific goal and instead just want companionship and a helping hand. DSPs assist with finding low-cost activities to increase socialization if the client has nothing planned.

Family Community Based SupportsThis option is for families that already do the hard work and needs an agency to sign up with as a DSP to be compensated . This is only valid for a client’s family member or well-known friend referral. There are no minimum hours required. We have accommodating employee onboarding options where we come to you, if necessary, and help complete all required paperwork. Rates are negotiable based on tier, level of care being provided, and experience.

Respite
TPIU is here to offer a helping hand through Respite Care. Respite care is a service that alleviates the duties of the primary caregiver for a short period of time. Our agency provides respite care in and out of the home. There are no minimum number of days or hours required. Respite can be used for family vacations, or when a caretaker needs temporary relief. We offer in-home respite and out of home respite. (May Be subject to other services such as Community Based Supports, transportation, Activity fees.) |
Supported Employment
We provide support and find activities needed to help a client obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce for which an individual is compensated at or above the minimum wage, but not less than the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. This service may be provided for an intensive period upon the client’s initial employment to help get them acclimated. This service may also be provided as an ongoing “follow-up” service that can take place face to face or by phone/zoom with client and employer. Services are individualized and may include but are not limited to: training and systematic instruction, job coaching, benefit support, travel training, and other workplace support services including services not specifically related to job-skill training that enable the client to be successful in integrating into the job setting.
